Stopping Time

Strange how we all push ourselves to find the strength and energy daily to get up, fumble around for breakfast. Possibly some coffee, while going about our day perpetuating the inevitable. We work to get pay our bills and continue “living”.  How often within this cycle do we stop to reach out to a loved one. When do we realize that we have people in our lives that can actually make things, better. You may talk to an individual everyday, but how often our you communicating your feelings and intently listening to what they are going through, what they might need.

This idea that we focus so much on the now, we forget how it effects the long term in all our relationships with family, friends and spouse. I want different for my child. I want him to know that love comes first, before the money for the long list of materialistic items take hold. The importance of having those connections, that make you forget the time because of how it makes you feel. I hope everyone reading can help me make this come true…
